The sky’s the limit as Latin American processor looks to future growth
When you’ve been in business for 25 years, it would be easy to get a little complacent. But that’s definitely not the case at Grupo Bafar, a food processing leader in Mexico. This is a company on the move.
Grupo Bafar distributes more than 25 different brands and operates two retail stores and more than 20 distribution centers in Mexico. They specialize in sausages and processed meat, fresh meat, prepared food, primary cuts of beef, pork and chicken and maturated processed meat.
To accommodate the growing needs of this growing company, Grupo Bafar sought the technology of VC999 after discovering them at a European trade show. Two years ago, they became a VC999 customer and are glad they did.
“VC999 machines are very reliable and we haven’t had any problems with them,” said Juan Carlos Dominguez, Engineering Manager, Grupo Bafar. “We really like that they always have a service engineer nearby and are ready to give us support whenever we need it.”
Dominguez says the excellent customer service is just one way in which VC999 separates itself from other equipment vendors.
“From my experience, VC999 machines are very easy to use, easy to maintain and have a great capacity,” said Dominguez. “Combine that with the fact that the support people are technically strong and we have everything we could possibly need.”
What Grupo Bafar might need now is more time in the day to accomplish all of their future growth plans. The company has set its sights on growth in all directions including more capacity in its production lines and distribution centers. |
