Fine Tuning the Art of Quality Products and Services
For more than 25 years Dennis Hoesly and the team from Hoesly’s Meats have been fine tuning the art of providing both superior products and service. The Hoesly team has been recognized for their outstanding product by being awarded four championship awards in the cured meat category by the Wisconsin Association of Meat Processors.
The family-owned business began 25 years ago in New Glarus, Wisconsin as a processor of local livestock and game. In addition to slaughter services, Hoesly’s Meats also opened a retail store where you can purchase their award winning product.
On any given Thursday at Hoesly Meats, you will find a flurry of activity as local farmers and ranchers bring their livestock in for slaughter. Following processing, much of the meat will be packaged for the local farmer or rancher or sold into retail. In an effort to take his packaging to the next level, owner Dennis Hoesly made a big decision last year. Hoesely purchased a VC999 Rollstock machine.
“I learn something new about this machine every day,” said Hoesly. “It is an impressive machine and has really helped us to offer a higher-quality package to our customers.”
In addition to retail product, Hoesly’s also caters small weddings and other special events.
Over the years, Hoesly’s Meats has faced many challenges, but Dennis and his team have been able to keep up with the changes. One of the biggest challenges is keeping up with the equipment innovations.
“We work hard to try and stay ahead of the competition by investing in quality machines and quality people,” explained Hoesly. “You can’t have a great product without great people behind it.”
Hoesly’s Meats attributes its ability to maintain product consistency and reduce labor costs to their VC999 Rollstock machines.
“Keeping the production line running smoothly is critical and the service team from VC999 has been able to provide us with the training and support we needed,” said Hoesly.
The sales team at VC999 worked with Hoesly’s to custom design their Rollstock machine to meet their space constraints and educate their team. The professionals at VC999 believe in personalized customer care.
“I understand how important it is for these small or medium-sized companies to understand what they are buying,” said Jim Wright, Vice President of Sales for VC999. “Often times the price of the machines are too high for these companies and requires a big decision financially. At VC999 we pride ourselves in helping customers understand the investment and how it will benefit their business.”
When Hoesly’s was considering the purchase of their Rollstock machine last year, the VC999 team helped them design the machine that was right for them through a series of questions.
“We ask a lot of questions and make sure it’s the right machine for the job,” explained Wright. “We analyze their product, their operational system, their personnel and their package to make sure that we offer them the right solution.“
When you purchase a machine from VC999 you are also purchasing a long-term relationship. And Dennis Hoesly of Hoesly Meats couldn’t agree more.
“We have spent a lot of time together and it is always a pleasure working with the VC999 team because they have become a part of our family here at Hoesly’s Meats. They have invested in us and us with them.” |
