PACKAGING Advantages: Low machine

Short shelf life requirements Material
Features: Tear notch, thickness variation of 3
mil/70 micron standard and high-barrier material
available Disadvantages: Medium cost per
package, higher labor cost, more material inventory, small
manual output
SHRINK BAG
PACKAGING Advantages: Medium machine
investment (Shrink Tank), medium operation space, high
flexibility Applications/Characteristics:
Longer shelf life requirement (functions like a second skin
therefore features less purge and longer shelf life),
transport and storage package and improved
presentation Material Features: High barrier
material, bone guard and patch bags, thickness variation 2.25
mil / 55 micron standard Disadvantages: High
cost per package (double as pouch), higher labor cost, more
material inventory, smaller manual output
SKINPACK SINGLE
PACKAGING Advantages: Uniform
package, attractive visual presentation, high value
presentation, retail display in hanger
shelves. Applications / Characteristics:
Improved presentation and marketability, portion control and
value-add features. Material Features: Easy
peel, high and standard barrier material in various
colors Disadvantage: High initial machine
investment, high cost
